Michele Simon

Michele Simon manages Southeast Medical Supply, which oversees the MMS portal used for all procurement services within physician Clinics, ASCs, Lab and corporate purchasing. She manages a team of three between Florida and Texas.

Michele joined PPOA in June of 2019 after a progressive career in Healthcare. Beginning her career as a Certified Surgical Technologist, First Assistant, OR Materials Manager, moving into Orthopaedic Office Management before settling into leading Ambulatory Surgery Center group procurement services. Having a focused perioperative background has provided the necessary skillset needed to develop successful formulary’s specific around the ASC module.

Michele joined Physician Partners of America most recently from Surgery Partners where she progressed from Director to VP of Supply Chain overseeing procurement services, growing from eight (8) ASC’s to over 180 locations throughout the country. Her experience includes De Novo projects for both ASC and Laboratory services, acquisitions and database implementation.

Michele moved to Florida from Pittsburgh PA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Eckerd College with emphasis in Healthcare. She has served on Supply Chain boards for two Group Purchasing Organizations. Michele currently lives in St Petersburg with her Fiancé who shares her love of sports and travel.
