After practicing medicine for a decade, Dr. Gari returned to school and graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida College of Business. He specialized in finance and entrepreneurship and finished in the top one percent of his class. Dr. Gari belonged to the international business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma.
A dedicated philanthropist, Dr. Rodolfo Gari supports a number of national and local charitable endeavors including The Children’s Home, an organization in Tampa serving children who have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Dr. Gari also contributes to the work of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, various Catholic charities, and the Berkeley Preparatory School, as well as volunteering with Habitat for Humanity International and Metropolitan Ministries.
In his spare time, Dr. Rodolfo Gari enjoys physical activities such as football, basketball, jogging, bicycling, and weight training. An avid fisherman, he participates in tournaments sponsored by the local Big Game Fishing Club.
