Minimally Invasive Stabilization (Spinal Fusion)
What is a Spinal Fusion?
A minimally invasive stabilization, also known as a spinal fusion, provides neck and back pain relief by removing or limiting motion between the vertebrae in the spine. If the spine is arthritic, or unstable due to injury, disease, or the normal aging process, a spinal fusion allows the bones to heal together in a “welding process”. This minimally invasive stabilization procedure restores stability, eliminates painful motion, and can be performed either in the lumbar (back) or cervical (neck) areas of the spine.
