Physician Partners of America is pleased to welcome Aaron Miranda, M.D., to its Carrollton, Texas pain clinic as an interventional pain management specialist.
Dr. Miranda is double board-certified in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He specializes in treating all pain conditions with, among other modalities, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator placement, Botox and nerve blocks for migraine and trigger point injections.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Texas Christian University, and his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. He completed is residency at the Nassau University Medical Center in New York, and elected chief resident of the pain management and rehabilitation department.
He then served as co-chief fellow during an ACGME-accredited interventional pain fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Aaron Miranda credits his father, also a physician, with his decision to pursue a medical career. “I saw how it changed people’s lives and that was an inspiration,” he says.
Dr. Miranda chose pain management to help patients improve their quality of life and physical function. “To see them improve on a regular basis is gratifying to me, the patients and their families,” he says. “Comprehensive pain management makes that possible.”
Dr. Aaron Miranda is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A native of El Paso who grew up in Tulsa, Dr. Miranda enjoys staying fit and attending concerts and sporting events, especially the TCU Horned Frogs. He speaks English and Spanish.
