Dr. Carissa Stone earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the University of South Florida. She then completed a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury and Rehabilitation at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa.
Dr. Stone is laser-trained and uses medical DNA testing (also known as pharmacogenomics) for safe prescribing. She also looks at patients’ diets and lifestyle to help them in their journey out of pain naturally.
