Pain Relief Centers, an affiliate of Physician Partners of America, is now offering orthopedic care by Dr. Keith Girton in Orlando. Orthopedic surgery or orthopedics is a specialty focused on conditions involving the bones and musculoskeletal system as a whole.
Dr. Keith Girton is one of our highly skilled, board-certified orthopedic surgeons and minimally invasive laser spine surgeons at Pain Relief Center’s Orlando clinic. With more than 30 years of orthopedic experience, his practice comprises of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Columbus, Ohio native, Dr. Girton stuck to his roots, attending a combined program with Otterbein College and The Ohio State University, completing both his BA and M.D. degrees in six years.
After completing a family practice residency and becoming board-certified in family medicine, he went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Ft. Worth Affiliated Hospitals in Ft. Worth, Texas. He then joined the U. S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of major and served as an orthopedic surgeon at Scott AFB near Bellville, Ill., and became certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
He later joined the Laser Spine Institute and practiced minimally invasive outpatient spine surgery primarily in the Philadelphia area, where he was featured in Philadelphia magazine’s Top Docs edition and where he was honored as Most Valuable Surgeon for the Laser Spine Institute’s seven national facilities in 2013.
Dr. Girton has completed upwards of an impressive 6,000 minimally invasive outpatient spinal surgeries on patients from every state as well as various countries including Egypt, Bahrain, South Africa, Nigeria and Venezuela.
Dr. Girton made the decision to move to Florida in 2019 and join Pain Relief Centers.

He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and the American Medical Association.
